Between the acrylic and watercolor pigments, charcoal, resin, clay, metal, paper, etc., I have worked with, let alone what has landed in my coffee cup, I am probably a walking toxicology report and I'm not done yet. I've done my share of shows, won awards, sold pieces, worked with galleries and had one or two crazy reps and survived more than one financial disaster. As it turned out I needed all of these experiences and more to bring BellaVision Frames to fruition.

I realized along the way, BellaVision can only be described as an obstacle course; complete with hurdles, brick walls, leaps of faith ending in scrapes and a frequently bruised ego and lots and lots of inclement weather. I needed to pack more than sun block and flip flops I started off with to survive this adventure. I would also need to pack the heaven sent support, sanctuary and glue my incredible daughter and my friends Lisa and Nancy provide; without which BellaVision Frames would be no more than a scribbled sketch on a piece of paper. Andy, Larry, Paula and Kevin, I truly appreciate each of you too. You are the best friends a dreamer like me could ever have.

To the imaginative hearts who run across this, in the process of bringing your heart's desire to fruition, chances are you will create every hindrance possible. My unsolicited advice is to be smart enough to appreciate and enjoy every step of your creative process, there is no short cut. There is the plan and then there is life, the two do not always follow the same path and they are not meant to be a a straight line or a fairy tale. I wish you courage, commitment and patience, with them, I believe anything is possible.
